Tata Punch EV 2025 – Compact Electric SUV for the Masses

The Tata Punch EV 2025 is the latest addition to India’s rapidly expanding electric car segment. With the success of the Nexon EV, Tata has now brought its electric capabilities to the compact SUV segment. The Punch EV looks similar to its petrol sibling but features subtle EV-specific design touches like a blanked-out grille, blue accents, and aerodynamic alloy wheels.

Powering the Punch EV is Tata’s Ziptron technology with two battery options likely – a 26 kWh and a 30.2 kWh pack – offering a claimed range of around 300–350 km. The car supports fast charging, and you can top it up from 10% to 80% in under 60 minutes.

Inside, the cabin features a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Tata’s new UI, connected car tech, a digital instrument cluster, and premium materials that punch above its weight (no pun intended). It’s expected to come with multiple drive modes, hill assist, and regenerative braking.

Tata Punch EV will be one of the most affordable electric SUVs in India, with pricing expected to start around ₹10 lakh. It directly rivals Citroen eC3 and MG Comet EV. With its tough looks, practical size, and trusted Tata reliability, the Punch EV could be a game-changer in the budget EV space.
