Mahindra is stepping into the electric future with its much-anticipated XUV.e8, part of the brand’s new “Born Electric” lineup. Set to launch in late 2025, the XUV.e8 is essentially the electric avatar of the XUV700, built on an all-new INGLO platform.
The XUV.e8 will feature futuristic styling with LED DRLs across the front fascia, a digital light bar, and a tech-forward cabin with three screens across the dashboard — one for the driver, infotainment, and even one for the passenger.
Mahindra plans to offer dual-motor AWD configurations, with battery options ranging up to 80 kWh. Expected real-world range will be around 450–500 km on a single charge. With fast charging support, the battery can be topped up in about 30–40 minutes up to 80%.
It will be loaded with ADAS, Level 2 autonomous capabilities, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and an immersive sound system. With expected pricing starting from ₹35 lakh, the XUV.e8 is Mahindra’s most ambitious EV yet, directly rivaling the likes of Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Tata Harrier EV.
